Thanks to your support, Lost Foundation Africa works to ensure women and children’s voices are heard, their rights are realized and their issues are given top priority.
More than 30 years ago, Lost pioneering founder established that children and women have rights. Today, we champion the rights of the Africa’s 400million children and women. We work to deliver and inspire programming and advocacy for children and women in over 50 countries around Africa, including those right here in Uganda.
In some of Africa’s worst disasters, we have led advocacy efforts that ensure children’s needs are a top priority. As a result, Africa policymakers look to LOST as the leading expert on childhood, both here at home and abroad.
The world’s refugee children are getting back to learning sooner, because we led the advocacy effort for a global standard. And we are the lead advocate for protecting children in conflict and providing mental health care for traumatized children.
Over 74678 people around the world support LOST as donors, advocates and volunteers. Join us, and together we can make change for children and women.
